What's the difference between flexible (3-6 month) and long-term (12+ month) rental?

The coverage is the same — insurance, road tax, maintenance and roadside assistance are included in both. The difference is the term and the rate: flexible plans run 3 or 6 months at a slightly higher monthly rate, while long-term plans run 12 to 24 months or more at a lower monthly rate. Can I switch vehicles during a 6-month plan?

Accepted Answer

Yes, subject to availability. If your needs change — a larger family, more luggage, a different fuel preference — contact us and we'll arrange a swap to another vehicle in our fleet. Any change in vehicle category may adjust your monthly rate; we'll confirm the new figure before the swap.

Question 3

What happens at the end of my 3 or 6-month term?

Accepted Answer

You return the car and your refundable deposit is returned, less any deductions for damage or outstanding charges. Or you can extend the plan, or convert to a 12 or 24-month long-term plan for a better monthly rate. Let us know before the term ends and we'll arrange whichever you prefer, subject to vehicle availability.

Question 4

Is there a down payment for flexible rental?

Accepted Answer

No. There's no down payment and no COE. You pay a refundable deposit at the start — the amount depends on the vehicle category — and the monthly fee for each month of your term. The deposit is returned when the car comes back in the condition set out in your agreement.

Question 5

Can I end a flexible plan early?

Accepted Answer

You can return the car before the term ends, but because the monthly rate was priced for the full 3 or 6 months, early return may forfeit part of the deposit or incur an early-termination charge. If you're unsure about the duration, talk to us first — we can sometimes structure the plan so you're not over-committing.

Accepted Answer
