Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the rental of vehicles from AKA Group Pte Ltd ("we", "us", or "our"), a company registered in Singapore with our registered address at 1 Commonwealth Lane #02-05, Singapore 149544. By registering an account and renting a vehicle from us, you ("the Hirer") agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Eligibility

To rent a vehicle from us, you must:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Hold a valid Singapore driving licence or an international driving permit recognised by Singapore law.
• Provide a valid NRIC (for Singapore citizens/residents) or passport (for foreigners).
• Complete the registration process, including verification of identity and driving licence.

3. Rental Agreement

Each vehicle rental is subject to a separate rental agreement, which will be signed electronically by the Hirer prior to vehicle collection. The rental agreement will specify the rental period, vehicle details, rental charges, deposit amount, and applicable terms. The Hirer agrees to the terms of the rental agreement by providing an electronic signature.

4. Rental Period & Return

The Hirer must return the vehicle to the designated location on or before the date and time specified in the rental agreement. Any extension of the rental period must be agreed upon in writing (or through our online platform) prior to the original return date. Failure to return the vehicle on time may result in additional charges.

5. Vehicle Condition & Inspection

The Hirer is responsible for returning the vehicle in the same condition as it was collected, subject to normal wear and tear. Pre-rental and post-rental inspections will be conducted, including photographic documentation. Any new damage identified during the post-rental inspection may be charged to the Hirer.

6. Traffic Offences & Summons

The Hirer is solely responsible for all traffic offences, parking violations, and summonses incurred during the rental period. In the event of a traffic offence, AKA Group Pte Ltd may disclose the Hirer's personal information (including NRIC and contact details) to the relevant authorities, including the Land Transport Authority (LTA) and Traffic Police, for the purpose of identifying the driver and processing the summons. Any administrative fees associated with handling summonses may be charged to the Hirer.

7. Accidents & Liability

In the event of an accident, the Hirer must report the accident to us as soon as possible and provide all requested information, including photographs and third-party details. The Hirer may be liable for repair costs, insurance excess, and other related charges. If the Hirer has not opted for the Collision Damage Waiver (CDW), the Hirer bears full liability for damage to the vehicle.

8. Payments & Deposits

The Hirer agrees to pay all rental charges, deposits, and applicable fees as specified in the rental agreement. The deposit will be refunded upon return of the vehicle, subject to deductions for any damage, outstanding charges, or traffic summonses incurred during the rental period.

9. Personal Data

By registering an account and renting a vehicle, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
